WHY IS THIS NIGHT DIFFERENT
FROM ALL OTHER NIGHTS?
ON ALL OTHER NIGHTS we may eat leavened as well as unleavend bread; tonight only unleavened bread.
ON ALL OTHER NIGHTS we eat all kinds of herbs; tonight only bitter herbs.
ON ALL OTHER NIGHTS we do not dip even once; tonight twice.
ON ALL OTHER NIGHTS we eat either sitting straight or reclining; tonight we all recline.

USEFUL AND LASTING
Helpful introduction and sturdy construction.
ILLUMINATED HAGGADAHS are among the delights of Jewish culture. Their pages weave a thousand-year-old ritual with the time in which they were written, offering a window on the world (past and present) and stimulation for the discussion that is a vital part of this beloved celebration.
One of Ismar David's great pleasures was to conduct his own Seder at Passover. His background gave him a deep affection for and understanding of Jewish tradition. His experience and gifts as a designer, illustrator and calligrapher gave him the resources to create a Haggadah that is as handsome as it is unique and (as he might say) utilitarian.
